# squidmaps

> squidmaps is a web app for making maps of the places you care about: draw or import points, lines, areas and text, style them, give them stories, and publish the map at a link. Each map is one JSON document in the open squidmaps map spec, built on GeoJSON: its data, styles, popups, legend, basemap and view, all in one place.
